Ingredients:
5oz Raw soaked Sunflower Seeds
12 oz Raw soaked walnuts
1 tbsp soaked sun-dried tomato
1/2 of a red bell pepper
1/4 of a yellow onion
2 tsp each of garlic powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, & chili powder
First soak your sunflower seeds, sun dried tomatoes and walnuts for about an hour then drain and let them dry out for about an hour before you start. Not necessary but best for digestion.
Add all the sunflower seeds to a food processor and blend until the sunflower seeds are a powder. Remove from the processor and add to a bowl.
Add onion, red pepper, and soaked sun-dried tomatoes to the food processor and blend until everything is finely chopped. Add the sunflower seed powder back into the food processor. Add walnuts & spices and blend until well combined but walnuts are still a little chunky.
Remove everything from the food processor and put on a dehydrator sheet and dehydrate for an hour at 115 degrees. This is optional, you can totally eat it without dehydrating but I like the crumbly texture the dehydrator gives.
I put these on salads, and lettuce cups. You can also switch up the seasonings and add them to other dishes like raw pasta or soups!
